Day 68 – Father’s Day Hugs

4 HUGS, 2 children, 2 adults (1 husband, 1 Food Lion employee)

Today I would like to dedicate my hugs to 5 wonderful dads in my life.

#1. Stepdad – This is the day he became an official dad in my life and I feel so blessed.  It is a privilege to have 2 dads.

#2. Father-in-law – He watched from Heaven the day he became my Father-in-law. I knew him for only a short time, but his impact will last me a lifetime.

#3. Hubby – What can I say? There could never be a more perfect dad for my children. Judging by their squeals when he returns home from work every weekday, I would say they agree.

#4. Grandpa (Great Grandpa to the kids) – Full of so much love. He is the history of our family and I could listen to his stories for hours.

#5. Dad – This picture isn’t the best of him, but is perfect to show the reason my 4 year old calls him Bubble Grandpa. Dad is the reason I want to change my small corner of the world. He showed love and kindness toward everyone he encountered. He taught me by example and I am proud to do the same for my children.

These {{{hugs}}} are for you leading men in my life. (And, no, I didn’t take today off. I hugged the Food Lion employee and when I left I heard her tell the next customer in line, “I love hugs!”. YES!!!)

Please accept this blog as my virtual hug to you.

As a matter if fact, you are way up there on my list of top five daughters as well.
    I love you, Melinda.
