6 HUGS, 2 children, 4 adults (1 husband, 1 Panera employee, 1 Mom, 1 Stepdad)
I’m officially on vacation! After 12 hours of driving, I am relaxing with beer in hand. Ahhhh… But, the hugging doesn’t stop. (good thing, too. I wouldn’t want it to.)
As great as my kids are at traveling, it’s still tiring and frustrating at times. I knew I wanted to ask for hugs but expected difficulty while traveling. At our first stop this proved true. My 17 month old made a terrible mess and the employee that cleaned it did not appear open to a hug. I don’t blame him. That was a big mess.
I had more success at Panera. As I was getting a high chair, an employee helped me bring it to the table. I thanked her with a hug ( after all, the mess wasn’t made yet…).
My favorite hugs of the day though of course came from my mom (MY MOMMY) and my stepdad. I have not seen them in 4 months (before I started this blog). I couldn’t wait to include their hugs. Now, if you will excuse me, I have some visiting to do.
Please accept this blog as my virtual hug to you.
