7 HUGS, 2 children, 5 adults (1 mother-in-law, 4 employees at Davis Farmland)
What a little treasure Davis Farmland is. MIL brought the kids and I today. There are free range animals that we could feed as well as a large water park. They had pony rides and a hayride, newborn animals and larger animals like Buffalo. I watched all these young adults working there and all I could think of was what fun it would be to work there. I even said as much to my MIL. My primary focus today was vacationing with my family, so it wasn’t until our day was winding down that I finally asked for hugs.
As we exited the hayride, I walked over to the woman driving the tractor and asked her for a hug. Next I asked the guide for a hug and let her know she did a great job. I had to walk past the driver again and as I did, I heard, “you know, you made my day.” then, I hear the guide say, “that was really sweet.” Just goes to show that you never know. Here I am thinking they have the greatest jobs in the world and even so, a day can always be made brighter with a hug.
Please accept this blog as my virtual hug to you.
