A neighbor’s son is in the Boy Scouts and stopped by today for a fundraiser. Apparently when he talked with his mom about selling door to door he said, “I want to go to that lady’s house that sells hugs.” She had to correct him, “she doesn’t sell hugs honey, she gives them away….for free.” (hmm…*ponders selling hugs*… Never… maybe?… no… could I?… *erases the thought permanently*) The best part is when he got here and I asked for a hug, he said no! Kids. At least me and my hugs were thought of.
I have heard and read numerous things about hugs in the past 196 days. Today a friend shared this with me because he said it made him think of me. It kind of sums up all of my favorite sayings about hugs:
I can’t tell you how amazing it feels when others share their found hugs with me. It’s heartwarming to know that I was thought of by them during the day, but it’s also kind of exciting to learn that when they think of hugs, they think of me.
Please accept this blog as my virtual hug to you.
