Day 202 – Happy Halloween

13 HUGS, 5 children, 8 adults (1 husband, 1 waste disposal employee, 1 neighborhood friend, 5 Halloween friends)

I love Halloween. Hence the reason I was so surprised at how distressed I was today. I think it had to do with not having a costume until this morning at 11:30. Even then I still had some work to do. What a surprise it was when I returned home to find my neighbor at the end of her driveway staring at me sheepishly. Instantly I wondered what she was up to. Then, I looked at my yard. There was a rake and bags on my lawn. Hmmm…. something’s fishy here. Turns out she took it upon herself to mow my lawn. What an incredible gesture to return home to on such a stressful morning. She was working on her own yard and thought it would be nice to help us out seeing as how our mower died two weeks ago midway through a cut. She was covered in grass as I headed toward her for a hug. Despite her protests of not wanting to get me dirty, I hugged her as tight as I could. No mere words could express my appreciation for such kindness.

And now….Halloween Goodies (the fat free kind!) Enjoy!
