17 HUGS, 2 children, 12 adults (1 husband, 4 neighborhood friends, 2 friends working at The Little Gym, 1 friend I met through the Little Gym, 2 front desk employees at Ramsdell Pediatrics, 1 nurse at Ramsdell Pediatrics, 1 Pediatrician at Ramsdell Pediatrics)
This is the time of year that everyone wants to show their appreciation to one another through gifts. The thing is we don’t always have enough money for gifts for everyone we are grateful for. But, we do always have love. All you need is love. (yes, I am singing the song in my head now you will be too) This doesn’t always mean hugs. It could mean a phone call, an email, a letter, a card. Perhaps it means an apology or forgiveness. Whether the love is shared daily or rarely at all it is always a welcome gift.
Today I shared my love with the pediatrician’s office. Neither of the boys had an appointment. I was just in the area and stopped by to share with them some holiday hugs. None of them, not even the Doctor herself were too busy for a quick hug.
So, I encourage you, give the gift of love this Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, another holiday or no holiday at all. For the more you give, the more you will get.
Please accept this blog as my virtual hug to you.
