15 HUGS, 6 children, 8 adults (1 husband, 3 neighborhood friends, 4 friends at The Little Gym)
Last week 22 month old went to a trial Little Gym class. The class was slightly overwhelming to say the least. (for me) I wasn’t used to so many little kids running and screaming all over the place with at least one (if not both) parents chasing them around. There were about 30 people in the gym that day! Gah! Fun, but Gah! Anyway…the teacher (who happened to be the owner that I get to hug every Tuesday) had another class immediately following ours. I debated walking in and hugging her, but there were so many kids, so many parents, I didn’t want to interrupt the class.
Guess I should have. I learned that later that day she debated calling to tease me about not giving her a hug. She chose not to. Why, you ask? Because she knew I would drive back there just for that hug and didn’t want to do that to me. I am just going to set the record straight right here and now. Please always do that to me! I am a stay at home mom. I am blessed with freedom and flexibility like you wouldn’t believe! To fill up that time with the prospect of hugs? Yes, please!
Please accept this blog as my virtual hug to you.
