It begins early, contemplating life. At this young age it’s about who gets more time to play the video games and the unfairness of it all. Moving on in to our teens it’s more about popularity and the unfairness of it all. Then, comes college and learning to make ends meet all. on. your. own. And, the unfairness of it all. Next, you are in your job doing all the right things, making your company lots of money while they cut your hours and overload you with work. All you can think of is the unfairness of it all.
Then, at some point a shift happens. Call it coming in to your own or maturity or wisdom, whatever it is life becomes yours. You no longer see things as unfairly happening to you. You accept them as a part of your path. You view them as ways to grow. You seize the reins and say, I enjoy life despite what it throws at me. You take control and begin steering in a direction that feels like a cozy sweater keeping you warm and content during the cold winter months. You quit that job that you never really liked in the first place. You swallow hard at the fear gripping your throat while you chase after your dreams. Only the fear is surrounded in peace because you feel a gentle push in that direction and know that is where you are meant to go.
That is where you are meant to be. It is your gift to this world. It is what I want for you. I want you to realize your gift. I want you to change the world with that gift. Consider this your gentle push.
Please accept this blog as my virtual hug to you.
