Remembering Who You Are

During an intuitive healing session lately, I was implored to remember who I am. Not the Melinda writing to you now, here, in human form. But, the I Am that I was before my human form, that I still am, and will remain after I no longer inhabit earth. That is the essence of myself and somewhere along the line, I forgot her.

I believe many people, women especially, are being called to remember who they are. To remember that they are made of love and light. Have you received the calling? You may not even recognize it. It begins with this unsettled feeling like something just isn’t quite right. Everything appears good. You have a home, a significant other, maybe even some great kids. Your finances aren’t perfect, but you have everything you need. You get the feeling like you should be happy, you should be grateful but instead, you judge yourself for not feeling that way.

You want more but you don’t know what that more is. So, you try yoga, you try a new dance class, maybe an art class, or switching jobs. Nothing seems to bring you to that place of peace. It’s because of the calling. You can ignore it, but it will keep pestering you. Maybe eventually it will give up, but you will know that in that moment you have sacrificed your happiness for comfort. I beg you not to do that.

The world needs you. The You that is begging to be remembered. The Divine Self that knows how to heal the world. She knows how to be love. She knows that joy is her birthright. She knows that you are a warrior. She wants you to remember that too.

So, how do you heed the calling? You listen. You listen to what she has to say. When she guides you to a book, read it. When she guides you to a podcast, listen. When it’s time for action, say yes. When its time to listen and remain still, find your breath. She will never stop guiding you and she will never steer you wrong. In the beginning you may not notice much of a difference, but over the course of a year, you will be amazed at the miracles that have entered your life.

Hell, 2017 seems like as good of a time to start as any. Grab your journal and document your year of remembering. Times seem so uncertain, but the more of us that heed our calling, the more light and love we can shine in the world. And that, my friends, is how we save our future.

With love and light,

Melinda
